Child Protection

At Caledonia High School, the safety, wellbeing and protection of every young person is our highest priority. We are committed to creating a nurturing, inclusive and supportive environment where all learners feel safe, respected and able to achieve their full potential.

Child protection is everyone's responsibility, and our staff work closely with families and partner agencies in line with national guidance, GIRFEC (Getting It Right for Every Child), and Fife Council Child Protection procedures to ensure that all children receive the support they need.

If a pupil, parent, carer or visitor has a concern about the wellbeing or safety of a young person, we encourage them to speak to a member of staff as soon as possible. Our designated Child Protection Coordinators are available to provide advice, support and guidance. Their details can be found on the Child Protection Contacts Poster below.
